1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Ilumia’s services, you fully agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), which govern your access to and use of the solutions offered by IFÁ Insights.
Single Paragraph
- Ilumia is an artificial intelligence tool designed exclusively to assist users with repetitive tasks, enhancing productivity and effectiveness in everyday personal or professional activities. It is neither intended to replace nor does it substitute qualified professionals, such as lawyers, doctors, dentists, engineers, or any certified specialist. Information and responses provided by Ilumia must not be directly used in production, critical tasks, or decisions requiring absolute accuracy. Users must always validate and carefully verify all responses received.
- Ilumia utilizes advanced language models (LLMs), currently provided by OpenAI and soon potentially by other similar providers, which may vary according to availability, costs, performance, or privacy criteria. Although the solution employs retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques aimed at significantly reducing occurrences of errors (known as "hallucinations"), such events can still occur and are not completely eliminated. Therefore, users must always verify the source and accuracy of the information provided.
- When responses are based on content stored in the user's own library or public, shared, or subscribed libraries (under the Professional or Business plans), Ilumia will clearly indicate the references of the documents used to generate the answer. If the content is sourced from the user's own library or a shared library where the user has ownership or contributor status, a direct link for quick access to the original document will be provided, enabling immediate verification and confirmation of the assistant's information before any use or subsequent action. If the response is based on subscribed libraries (where the user is only a reader), only the general source library will be indicated, and users are responsible for validating the response through public documents or deciding, at their sole discretion, whether to trust or accept the information provided.
- The results of calculations, financial projections, or numerical metrics generated by Ilumia are automated estimates and may contain inaccuracies. Before using them for accounting, tax obligations, financial reporting, or other critical decisions, the user must verify the figures through independent methods or qualified professionals.
- IFÁ Insights shall under no circumstances be responsible for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or consequences arising from the use of information generated by the AI models used by Ilumia. Users expressly acknowledge and agree that they bear sole responsibility for the use and validation of information received from Ilumia, assuming all risks associated with such use.
2. Description of Services
- Ilumia is an Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) platform developed by IFÁ Insights that allows users to organize, store, and consult information (documents, audios, texts, etc.) in a secure and intelligent manner, as well as generate personalized content and reports.
- The service is primarily accessed via WhatsApp (or other supported channels), where the user sends their content and receives responses and analyses generated by AI models.
- Ilumia offers different subscription plans (Individual, Professional, and Business), each providing specific resources for storage, organization, and information sharing, including the possibility of content monetization and creating public libraries (in the case of the Professional plan) or team-oriented solutions (in the Business plan).
- Currently, Ilumia primarily utilizes language models provided by OpenAI, which, according to its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, does not share or use user data for purposes other than those contracted. IFÁ Insights may, in the future, use other AI models (“LLMs”) to improve performance, reduce costs, or enhance privacy, always transparently informing, in these Terms, which models are in use. It may also allow users to select customized models for specific functions in future updates of the assistant. IFÁ Insights reserves the right to specify certain models for particular actions that cannot be customized by users.
3. Responsible Use
- You agree not to use the services for illegal purposes or to violate the rights of third parties, in accordance with applicable legislation and market best practices.
- Any content you send is your sole responsibility. Do not send confidential or sensitive information without first evaluating the risks, as well as respecting privacy and intellectual property laws.
- It is the user’s responsibility to ensure they have all necessary authorizations for sharing content (e.g., documents or information belonging to third parties) and that such content does not violate copyrights, personal rights, or any other rights.
- The user expressly agrees not to use Ilumia to publish, distribute, or share content that is abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, illegal, or that incites violence, prejudice, or hatred.
4. Content Sharing and AI Use
- Processing and Context: By sending content (documents, audios, texts, links, etc.) to Ilumia, the user agrees that such information will be processed by AI models to provide responses, analyses, and personalized content.
- User Control: The user has full autonomy to decide what should or should not be shared with Ilumia. It is the user’s responsibility to maintain control over sending sensitive information, taking into account their own privacy and confidentiality policies.
- Internal Use: IFÁ Insights does not share user data with third parties, except when strictly necessary to enable the operation of its infrastructure (for example, cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.), applying security and confidentiality standards comparable to those of major providers.
- Other AI Models: IFÁ Insights may use its own models or those of other partners, different from OpenAI, for certain features. In such cases, it will inform the user in advance and, when possible, offer options to choose the model, taking into account factors such as performance, cost, and privacy.
- Continuous Improvement: The user authorizes IFÁ Insights to use data and interactions generated within Ilumia—anonymized and aggregated—solely for auditing, performance evaluation, and ongoing enhancement of the platform’s models and features, without disclosing any information that could identify the user or their confidential content.
5. Security and Data Protection
- Encryption and Market Standards: IFÁ Insights employs best practices to protect stored and transmitted data, including encryption, monitoring, and other layers of security, at levels similar to those provided by major technology companies.
- WhatsApp and Communication Channels: Messages exchanged via WhatsApp are protected by end-to-end encryption provided by WhatsApp itself. After receiving them, IFÁ Insights applies internal safeguards to protect the content, but is not responsible for any vulnerabilities within the app or third-party infrastructure.
- User Responsibility: The user must keep their devices, networks, and accounts secure, using strong passwords, antivirus software, and following good security practices.
- Sharing with Authorities: IFÁ Insights may share user data with competent authorities in the event of a legal obligation, court order, or valid administrative proceeding.
6. Compliance and Certifications
- All technological infrastructure, payment platforms, and communication services used by Ilumia adhere to the most rigorous international standards of security and compliance, holding certifications including, among others, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, and ISO 27018, ensuring protection and quality levels aligned with global best practices.
7. Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Availability
- IFÁ Insights is committed to providing users with a minimum monthly Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 99.5% availability for Ilumia, corresponding to a maximum acceptable downtime of approximately 3 hours and 36 minutes per month.
- In cases where monthly downtime exceeds this percentage, users may request credits proportional to the proven excess downtime, limited to a maximum equivalent of one full month of the contracted subscription.
- Such credits will only be granted upon the user's formal request, which must be submitted to IFÁ Insights within a maximum period of 30 days following the month in which the downtime occurred, under penalty of forfeiting the right to the credit.
- Verification and confirmation of the exact period of downtime will be conducted exclusively through official records (logs and advanced monitoring systems) maintained by IFÁ Insights. External or individual sources for measurement will not be accepted.
- Only global downtime events or events affecting the majority of users will be considered for the purposes of this SLA. Individual complaints or isolated issues affecting a single user or small groups do not qualify under this agreement and will not entitle users to credits.
- Additional exclusions include force majeure events, previously communicated scheduled maintenance, and third-party actions beyond IFÁ Insights' direct control.
8. Referral Program
- IFÁ Insights may, at its sole discretion, offer one additional free month of Ilumia subscription to users who refer new paying customers. The free month will be credited after the referred user completes the free trial period and effectively makes the first subscription payment.
- Each user may receive up to 12 free months (equivalent to 12 successful referrals) within a maximum period of one year. Any granting of additional free months beyond this limit will be entirely at IFÁ Insights' discretion.
- IFÁ Insights reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time, without prior notice, not creating any additional obligation, compensation, or indemnity to users.
9. Limitations of Liability
- Provided “As Is”: Ilumia and its features are offered as is, without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. The AI-generated responses are for support only and do not replace professional advice.
- Decision Making: IFÁ Insights shall not be held liable for decisions made based on the AI’s responses. Any use of the provided information is entirely the user’s responsibility.
- General Limitation: Under no circumstances will IFÁ Insights be liable for loss of profit, indirect damages, loss of data, or any other losses resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.
- Content Risks: The user acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for the integrity, legality, and accuracy of the information submitted, as well as for any violations of third-party rights that such content may entail.
10. Backup and Data Responsibility
- IFÁ Insights employs recommended security and storage practices to protect your data, however, it does not guarantee absolute immunity against loss, corruption, or accidental deletion. The user is solely responsible for maintaining up-to-date backups of any important data submitted to Ilumia.
- IFÁ Insights will not be liable for damages arising from technical failures, temporary or permanent unavailability of services, or any other factor that may cause total or partial loss of data stored or processed on the platform.
11. Changes to Services
IFÁ Insights reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the services, in whole or in part, at any time, by providing prior notice to users whenever possible, and without incurring any obligations, except as required by law.
12. User Account, Access, and Security
- Access to Ilumia is provided through the phone number (WhatsApp) supplied by the user at the time of subscribing to the selected plan (Individual, Professional, or Business), as well as the email address provided by the user during initial registration. These details are used together to enhance efficiency and security in user validation.
- IFÁ Insights grants initial access exclusively to the phone number provided by the user at the time of subscription. Keeping these details up to date, as well as the security and control over the registered mobile device, WhatsApp account, and email account, are fundamental requirements and solely the responsibility of the user, along with the providers of these services.
- For certain actions outside the WhatsApp environment, Ilumia generates unique, digitally signed administrative links, with limited validity periods, protected by temporary passwords (e.g., a PIN code), sent directly to the registered WhatsApp/mobile number. It is the user's sole responsibility to keep this information strictly confidential, as it is personal and non-transferable.
- IFÁ Insights does not store any PIN codes provided to the user, performing only hash-based verification when submitted by the user. In case of loss or compromise of access to the link or temporary code, the user may securely generate a new administrative link directly via WhatsApp.
- IFÁ Insights shall not be liable for unauthorized access or negative consequences arising from the user's failure to comply with these fundamental security practices.
13. Plans (Individual, Professional, and Business)
- Individual Plan: Intended for personal use, focused on secure storage, intelligent search, and content generation. The user must not share access with third parties for commercial exploitation purposes.
- Professional Plan: Designed for specialists who wish to create public libraries, share content, and, if desired, monetize it. The user is responsible for the legality and compliance of any material made available to subscribers.
- Business Plan: A solution for companies that require centralized documents, reports, team collaboration, and managed access to libraries. The subscribing company is accountable for its employees’ conduct and must guide and supervise the correct use of the platform.
- Any use that exceeds the scope of the contracted plan may result in service suspension or termination, at IFÁ Insights’ sole discretion.
14. Cancellation, Plan Changes, and Refund Policy
- Ilumia uses Stripe, a global leader in payment solutions, to securely, efficiently, and transparently manage all subscriptions, billing, renewals, cancellations, and billing-related requests for its plans.
- Users must always use the official channel for managing their subscription directly through WhatsApp (using the command /ajuda), where a personal, non-transferable link will be provided for secure administration of their subscription. In this portal, users can perform actions such as changing plans, updating registration data, and canceling subscriptions.
- Rules regarding grace periods, subscription cancellations, and refund requests are directly managed by the Stripe platform, following the specific policies, security standards, and excellence of that platform.
- For individual plans, only one subscription per registered phone number is permitted. If a user initiates a new subscription through the public link on the Ilumia website using the same phone number already registered, this will result in an unintended additional subscription. If this occurs, Ilumia will notify the user upon detecting this duplication, and it is the user's responsibility to contact Ilumia support immediately for clarification. Cancellation of the additional subscription must be performed directly by the user on the Stripe platform.
15. Intellectual Property
- Copyright: All content, design, layout, text, code, and other visual and functional elements of Ilumia are owned by IFÁ Insights or its licensors, protected by intellectual property and copyright laws.
- Limited License: Users are granted only a personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to use the platform. Reproduction, sale, distribution, modification, or commercial exploitation of any parts of the services without prior written authorization is prohibited.
16. Indemnification

The user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IFÁ Insights, its directors, partners, employees, affiliates, and partners from any liability for losses, damages, claims, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) resulting from:
- Violation of these Terms or applicable law;
- Improper or unauthorized use of the service;
- Infringement of third-party rights (including intellectual property rights);
- Any information or content sent, posted, or otherwise transmitted through Ilumia.
17. Privacy Policy
The use of the services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which details how we handle your information, in compliance with applicable legal provisions. We recommend that you read it carefully.
18. Termination
IFÁ Insights may terminate or suspend access to the services, in whole or in part, if it detects a violation of these Terms or any behavior that may harm IFÁ Insights or third parties.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Brazilian law. The courts of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, are hereby elected as the exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes, with the express waiver of any other jurisdiction, no matter how privileged it may be.
20. Ilumia Podcasts (AudioBlogs)
Ilumia offers a free Podcasts feature (also called AudioBlogs) to subscribers, allowing them to publish audio on the platform in order to build a personal brand or share ideas with the general community. To access this feature, the subscriber must provide specific consent, directly via WhatsApp or another supported channel, agreeing to the Ilumia Podcasts Terms of Service. Being a free tool, the following conditions apply:
- Right to Advertising Space: IFÁ Insights reserves the right to display ads, Google Ads, affiliate links, or any other form of advertising in the areas where these podcasts are published.
- Exclusive Monetization: Any advertising, sponsorship, or monetization revenue generated in this section belongs entirely to IFÁ Insights, without any payment to subscribers, unless otherwise expressly agreed upon.
- Automatic Acceptance: The use of Ilumia Podcasts implies full and unrestricted adherence to these terms, including the display of advertising and the possibility of exclusive remuneration by IFÁ Insights.
- Content Responsibility: The subscriber remains responsible for the legality and appropriateness of the content published on Ilumia Podcasts, ensuring compliance with third-party rights and all relevant legislation.
21. User Data Deletion
- When the user cancels their Ilumia subscription, their data will remain stored in a quarantine status for a period of ninety (90) days. This period allows users to re-subscribe to Ilumia services without losing their previously stored knowledge library.
- If the user wishes their data to be permanently deleted without waiting for the quarantine period, they must, after canceling their subscription through the Stripe platform, send an explicit request for immediate deletion via email to [email protected]. IFÁ Insights will then permanently delete the data, making subsequent recovery impossible.
22. General Provisions
- Validity: The invalidity or unenforceability of any clause in these Terms does not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
- No Waiver: IFÁ Insights’ failure or delay in enforcing any clause of these Terms does not constitute a waiver and may be exercised at any time.
- Changes to the Terms: IFÁ Insights reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, notifying the user of such changes via notices on the platform, email, or other official channels. Should the user continue to use the services after the changes are made available, it is presumed that they agree to the new Terms.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, represent the entire agreement between the user and IFÁ Insights, superseding any prior understandings or agreements.
- Communications: Any notifications may be made via messaging apps (such as WhatsApp), email, or direct notices on the platform, at IFÁ Insights’ discretion and availability.
